Happy Birthday America!

Randy Writes:
Years ago our founding Fathers invested all they had into the forming of this great nation. They didn’t know whether their efforts would be successful or not. Many died and never even got to see our first victories during the revolutionary war. Some did live and got to see this country take its first baby steps. Fortunately we have seen the fruit of their efforts and we are enjoying the many liberties they had fought to give us.Let us pray for our nation that we would not let go of our founding father’s values. Let us have the courage and personal integrity, to do the right thing in any given situation no matter who stands against us.

Above all, let us not neglect to place our faith in God. God was the answer to the many questions our fellow countrymen asked over two centuries ago, and God is still the answer to the many questions that confront us today.

Let us pray one for another and for this wonderful nation that was handed down to us remembering that according to the Word of God the government is on the shoulders of Jesus.

Isaiah 9:6

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
A Personal note from Marie
Last year’s 4th of July

This is the first year since moving to Florida that we don’t have at least one of our kids with us to celebrate the 4th of July with days of building sandcastles, swimming, and shark teeth hunting.  This year Erica is pregnant with twins so travel was out of the question.  Alex has been doing a lot of traveling for Panasonic and turns out with all the rain we are experiencing here…their Florida vacation would have been a washout.  I Love how our Father knows best!

I am still in recovery mode from the accident and not able to really do too much physically, YET. My hope and trust is in the power of the Word of God, the Name of Jesus, and the love of my Father God for me! Healing is around the corner.  I am doing my part beefing up on calcium and protein to stimulate more bone growth, exercising my right arm a bit, and taking time to enjoy this quiet season of reflection. Next week I will share my testimony at a Christian Woman’s Connection luncheon in Sun City, FL. Pray for hearts to be open to receive Jesus’ love.

Thanks again to all of you who have stood with us in prayer both for Marie’s healing and for other accident related needs being met.  We are experiencing such an out pouring of love and generosity from so many of you and the favor of God is evident everywhere we turn. Truly this situation is working together for our good because of Father’s promises and plans for our life and we are in awe.If you have time please enjoy this brief video clip of how the Holy Spirit moved on our behalf at our church some weeks ago. click on to the link:
